The ever-popular Wikipedia has taken a lot of heat for its use by students as source material. Enter Citizendium, which bills itself as a “citizens’ compendium of everything” and was started by the Wikipedia folks. The difference? Citizendium requires contributors to provide a name and credentials, unlike Wikipedia, which accepts anonymous contributions.
