The Student Affairs techies over at UNC have launched a new initiatve called UNC Mobile. It provides alerts, bus info, emergency messages, and much more via text messaging. Interesting stuff. Tweet

My colleague Eddie Lovett recently encouraged me to try out Jott, a (currently) free service that lets you make a phone call to yourself, essentially, that is then transcribed and available to you via the web. Now that the university has selected a vendor for clickers and clicker software, I plan to purchase a number of clickers for our Division.
